Harvey Bilisoly is a native of Norfolk, Virginia, and lives and works in the beautiful Tidewater region. He has been painting and drawing his entire life, and has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA, 1979. Harvey has had many exhibitions of his artwork over the years in and around the area. His interest in Classic and Antique Car painting began with his association with a local collector and restorer, who commisioned him to first paint a 1929 Duesenberg Coupe that was a centerpiece of his collection. Commissions for a 1930 Duesenberg Phaeton and 1923 Packard Roadster followed, both of which may be seen in the "Artwork' section of this website. Harvey has more recently completed oil portraits of a 1960 Chevrolet Impala and a 1953 Buick Skylark, also to be seen within this site.

While preferring to work from life, Harvey can also render faithfully from photographs. He may also be commisioned to do nuanced pencil drawings.
Painting commissions also include delivery of several preliminary sketches of the automobile under consideration.
